Cohort Participation Agreement

The So What Movement · The Big Move Fund · Dallas Fort Worth, Texas

Version 1.0 · Effective 2026-08-19

This is what a Movement Cohort participant agrees to. It is short on purpose. Between [legal entity name and state of incorporation, to be confirmed] (the "Program") and the participant ("you").

1. What the Program provides

Weekly working sessions across the five areas: marketing, hiring and people, legal and compliance, finance and capital, and technology and systems. Templates, referrals to outside professionals and free resources, and preparation for the Big Move Fund pitch. There is no tuition and no fee at any point.

2. What you agree to

Leaving the cohort does not affect your eligibility to enter the Big Move Fund. Participation is not required to enter.

3. Confidentiality, both ways

People in this room share revenue, debts, payroll and mistakes. What another participant shares in a session stays in the room. Do not repeat it, post it, or use it to compete with them. The same obligation runs from us to you: staff and coaches are bound to keep your figures confidential, and we will not share them outside the program except as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. We are not your advisers

Nothing in the Program is legal, tax, accounting, investment or financial advice. Coaches and guest speakers give general business education. We are not your attorney, your CPA, your banker or your broker, and taking part creates no such relationship. Before you act on anything, get advice from a professional engaged by you.

Where we refer you to an outside professional or organization, we are pointing you at a resource, not endorsing or standing behind their work. You choose who to engage and on what terms.

5. No guarantee

We do not guarantee that you will win an award, that any lender will approve you, that your credit will improve, or that your business will reach any particular result. What we guarantee is the work: the sessions, the preparation, and honest feedback.

6. Photographs and recording

We sometimes photograph or film sessions and pitch day for reporting and publicity. By taking part you agree we may use your image and voice for those purposes without further compensation.

You can opt out. Tell us in writing, or tell the person holding the camera, and we will not use your image. Opting out does not affect your place in the cohort or your entry.

You may not record another participant without their permission.

7. Ending participation

You may leave at any time, for any reason, at no cost. We may end a participant's place for repeated absence, for breaching confidentiality, or for conduct that harms other participants.

8. Your business stays yours

The Program takes no ownership, no equity, no revenue share and no intellectual property rights in your business or in anything you develop during the cohort.

9. Governing law

Texas law governs this agreement. Venue is [county, to be confirmed] County, Texas.
